Description
Color: It has a reddish-brown husk because it?s partially polished, retaining the bran.
Rich in fiber, magnesium, and vitamins compared to white rice.
Taste & Texture: Slightly earthy flavor, firm texture, and it swells up more than regular rice after cooking.
Uses: Commonly eaten with curries, sambar, fish curry, and also used in Kerala feasts (sadyas).
